Why these exist

I sold solar. Like most people paid on commission, I ran my working life out of a spreadsheet: deals in one tab, commission maths in another, follow-ups in my head. It worked until it didn't. One wrong paste and the commission column was quietly wrong. A deal went two weeks without a touch because nothing reminded me. And when payday didn't match my own number, I had no record to argue from.

The obvious fix is a CRM. But a CRM is $40 a month forever, it wants an account and a login, it keeps your deals on someone else's servers, and half the time it is blocked on the laptop your employer gave you. For one rep tracking their own book, that is a lot of overhead to solve a problem a spreadsheet nearly solves.

So I built the thing I wanted: one HTML file, opened in the browser I already had, with the maths built in and the data staying on my machine.

What Flowdesk is

Every product is a single .html file. You download it once and open it like any other file. There is no install, no login, no admin rights, and no internet connection needed once it is on your machine. Your deals live in that browser's local storage, not on a server I run, because I don't run one.

That design has a real trade-off and I would rather say it plainly than bury it: because the data is yours and local, clearing your browser clears it. Every tool ships with Export and Import in Settings so you can back it up and move it between machines. That is the price of not handing your book to someone else.

How it's priced

One payment, and the file is yours. No subscription, nothing that expires, no seat you have to keep paying for. If a tool costs $39 it costs $39, once. The free tools are genuinely free and answer one question well; the paid ones are what keep the answer true month after month.

How it gets better

It is one person building these, which cuts both ways. There is no support department, but there is also nobody between you and the person who wrote the code. Every tool has a Send feedback button that asks two questions: what were you using before, and what changed since you started. That is what decides what gets built next.
